ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES SUSTAINABILITY
Research Center for Environmental and Clean Technology

About Us
This research group aims to identify between the use of environmental resources and their carrying capacity, it is necessary to manage and use ecoregion-based (environmentally friendly) space to harmonize various sectors of activity on the landscape. For this reason, various studies are needed that examine environmental dynamics at the landscape scale to support the optimization of sustainable management and use of space with an environmental carrying capacity approach.
Research Scope

Tracing and tracking techniques (eg: /FRN and isotopes) on erosion, sedimentation and pollution;
Application of Engineering (NGS) and isotopes for the study of soil carbon dynamics and bioamplification; and
Assessment of environmental carrying capacity and optimization of resource utilization using quantitative models (eg: Resources Budgeting and Multi Criteria Decision Making/MCDM).
Research Topic

The dynamics of erosion and sedimentation processes;
Transport and accumulation of pollutants in surface water, soil, and groundwater;
The dynamics of the terrestrial and coastal environment (hinterland);
Optimizing the use of land and water resources;
Conservation of land, water areas, and coastal environment; as well as
Terrestrial and aquatic carbon sinks
National/Global Problems To Be Solved

The impact of climate change on land and water resources;
Land and water degradation due to anthropogenic activities;
Utilization of natural resources that exceed the carrying capacity of the environment;
Environmental damage due to excessive use of organic and inorganic materials (such as: fertilizers, pesticides, PVC, Ethylene, Propylene etc.);
Resistance to paradigm changes and the stigma of people's habits
Strategy

-
Be actively involved in the spatial planning process at the national level;
-
Establish communication and cooperation with ministries related to the scope of Research Center activities based on the results of research that has been carried out to be applied/used by the ministry as a technical institution;
-
Get involved in international organizations with activities according to the scope of research group;
-
Conduct research collaborations at the global level; and
-
Conduct webinars on a global scale by raising research group topics.
